REGULAR DAY SCHEDULE
All Periods — start today with our standard opening routine:
- Check your workstation for any signs of damage or vandalism. Immediately report anything you see.
- Log on.
- Check the daily agenda and your grade.
- Keyboarding practice using MasterKey. Make sure you are sitting up straight, keyboard two inches from the edge of the table, all fingers on the home row keys, palms turned in slightly, and eyes on the screen.
- REMINDER: Do not TOUCH or MOVE the computer monitor (screen).
8th Grade (Periods 1, 5, 6)
Today’s agenda:
- Continuing lesson: Evaluating Internet Research Sources
- Assignment sheet 7 – checking some real sites for validity (last day)
- Tomorrow you will be called on to give your opinion about one of the CARS indicators for one of the sites. You must have an opinion and some evidence to back-up your opinion. Review your document to make sure it is organized enough so that you can pull out this info when you are called on.
- When you are finished, use any remaining time as a make-up session. Open the recently updated grades and check carefully for any missing work. There is no gaming allowed today.
7th Grade (Periods 2, 3, 7)

- Continuing lesson: Creating a Presentation
- Finishing your presentation — summary slide
- Proofreading
- Peer review
